Game Two of Divisional Series in Wenatchee Tonight
August 12, 2012 - West Coast League (WCL)
Wenatchee AppleSox News Release
The AppleSox and Bells are back in Wenatchee for the second game of the best-of-three divisional series tonight at 7:05 at Paul Thomas, Sr. Baseball Stadium.
The Sox dropped Game 1 in Bellingham, 1-0, in heartbreaking fashion and now moves their season to the brink. Joe Winterburn's solo homerun in the bottom of the 7th was all the Bells needed after Adam Gunn tossed a complete game shutout for Bellingham.
The winner of the series will play the winner of the Corvallis/Cowlitz series on Wednesday. Corvallis took the opener from the Black Bears, 3-1.
WEAR RED TONIGHT!
Gates to tonight's game open at 6:00 PM PST. Be there, be loud, and WEAR RED! The players are encouraging everyone in attendance to wear red to tonight's game, and let's RED OUT the Bells as we aim to even up the series at a game apiece!
