Game Time Changed For Preseason Road Game

INDIANAPOLIS - The Indiana Fever hosts the Chicago Sky in a preseason home game on Friday, May 7 (12:00 p.m.), then travels to Chicago for a preseason road game on Monday, May 10. Originally scheduled as a day game, the road game against the Sky has been changed to 7:00 p.m. ET.

When the Sky visits Conseco Fieldhouse on May 7 (12:00 p.m.), it will be Kids Day featuring Choices for Champions in partnership with the Children's Museum of Indianapolis. Students will hear from successful leaders and role models including Fever star Tully Bevilaqua, a player from the Sky and WISH-TV meteorologist Angela Buchman. The Choices for Champions Educational Program begins at 10:00 a.m. and includes a presentation by the Children's Museum of Indianapolis. The program is followed by a lunch break and concourse activities from 11:00 until tipoff. A $10 admission for students includes a soft drink, chips, hot dog and a complimentary ticket to the Children's Museum. The Fever and each of 11 other teams in the Women's National Basketball Association open training camps for the 2010 season on Sunday, April 25.

Following its first visit to the WNBA Finals and three consecutive sellout crowds during the 2009 WNBA Playoffs, the Indiana Fever is eager to pursue a sixth straight playoffs appearance and a return trip to the Finals in 2010. The Fever tips off the 2010 season by hosting the Washington Mystics on Saturday, May 15 (7:00 p.m.).
