FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - The New England Revolution (7-4-6, 27 pts.) will play the second match of a three-match homestand against Seattle Sounders FC (4-9-3, 15 pts.) at Gillette Stadium on Saturday. The match kicks off at 7:30 p.m. ET and will be televised locally on NBC Sports Boston with Brad Feldman, Paul Mariner, and Naoko Funayama on the call. Authenticated subscribers may stream the match on NBCSportsBoston.com and on the NBC Sports app. The contest also airs on the radio with 98.5 The Sports Hub broadcasting the action in English and 1260 AM Nossa Radio providing Portuguese commentary.

Saturday's match will be the lone matchup between New England and Seattle in 2018. New England enters the match unbeaten in six straight MLS games and is aiming to claim points for the fifth time in the last six matches between the two sides. Sounders FC enters Saturday's match following a road victory at the Colorado Rapids, 2-1, on July 4.

New England will conclude its three-match homestand on Saturday, July 14 with a second consecutive matchup against a Western Conference team in the LA Galaxy at Gillette Stadium. Kickoff for that game is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET, and will be broadcast locally on NBC Sports Boston, 98.5 The Sports Hub, and 1260 AM Nossa Radio.

There are a few notable connections between the Revolution and Seattle:

o Revolution midfielder Kelyn Rowe is a native of Federal Way, Wash. and developed at the Crossfire Premier Development Academy.

o Sounders FC forward Clint Dempsey was selected by the Revolution with the eighth-overall pick in the 2004 MLS SuperDraft. He played three seasons in New England from 2004-06, scoring 25 goals in 71 appearances.

o Dempsey and Revolution Head Coach Brad Friedel were teammates at Tottenham Hotspur FC from 2012-13.

o Revolution defender Jalil Anibaba and Sounders FC forward Will Bruin were teammates on the Houston Dynamo in 2016.

o Sounders FC defender Jordan McCrary was selected by New England with the 10th-overall pick in the 2016 MLS SuperDraft. He did not make an MLS appearance in one season with the Revs.
