FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - The New England Revolution (10-9-9, 39 pts.) will continue the playoff push against New York City FC (14-5-8, 50 pts.) on Saturday, Sept. 7 at Yankee Stadium. The match kicks off at 3:30 p.m. ET, televised nationally on Univision and streaming on Twitter. The match also airs locally on the radio with Brad Feldman and Paul Mariner broadcasting the action on 98.5 The Sports Hub, with 1260 AM Nossa Radio providing Portuguese commentary.
Saturday's contest will be yet another crucial battle in a tight-knit Eastern Conference playoff race, as the sixth-place Revolution look to extend their league-best unbeaten run in away games to eight games. New England heads into this weekend's contest with points in 15 of its last 16 league games, including a 1-1 draw against Toronto FC last week courtesy of Gustavo Bou's sixth goal in eight MLS games.
With a Revolution win over New York City FC on Saturday, Bruce Arena would become the second coach in MLS history to reach the 700-point milestone, having accrued 697 regular season MLS points to date (209-122-94). The Revs are unbeaten in the last three meetings with NYCFC, having posted an all-time record of 4-3-4 in the series with a 1-2-3 mark at Yankee Stadium. The last time New England traveled to New York City, the team claimed all three points in a 1-0 victory on Sept. 5, 2018. The two sides will square off later this month in the Revs' regular season home finale on Sunday, Sept. 29.
