LA Galaxy to Host Lakers Night September 15 During Match vs. Sporting Kansas City

LOS ANGELES - The LA Galaxy will host Lakers Night on Sunday, Sept. 15 at Dignity Health Sports Park at 7 p.m. PT (FS1; FOX Deportes) when the club faces Sporting Kansas City as the five-time MLS Cup champions LA Galaxy celebrate the decorated history of the Los Angeles Lakers, one of the most successful teams in NBA history. Tickets to the match are on sale now, available here.

The match, presented by Spectrum SportsNet, will see the first 10,000 fans to enter Dignity Health Sports Park on Sept. 15 receive a Galaxy x Lakers cell phone wallet.

The contest will also feature numerous other elements celebrating the 16-time NBA champion Lakers, including appearances from the Lakers Girls and 7-time NBA Champion Robert Horry.

Additionally, the LA Galaxy Foundation will auction Lakers-inspired kits, with purple and gold names and numbers on the jersey backs, benefitting the LA Galaxy Foundation. Fans can text to bid on the player-autographed jerseys by texting GALAXY to 52182 or.

The Galaxy will train this week in Los Angeles, with nine days until their next MLS Regular Season contest. On Sept. 11, the Galaxy will face Colorado Rapids (8-14-6, 30 pts.) at 6 p.m. PT at Dick's Sporting Goods Park.
