FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - The New England Revolution (7-5-7, 28 pts.) open a two-game road trip against Minnesota United FC (7-11-1) at TCF Bank Stadium on Wednesday evening. The match kicks off at 8:00 p.m. ET and will be televised locally on NBC Sports Boston with Brad Feldman and Paul Mariner on the call. Authenticated subscribers may stream the match on NBCSportsBoston.com and on the NBC Sports app. The contest also airs on the radio with 98.5 The Sports Hub broadcasting the action in English and 1260 AM Nossa Radio providing Portuguese commentary.
Wednesday's match will be the lone meeting between New England and Minnesota in 2018. It will also mark the Revolution's first ever visit to Minnesota, which joined MLS as an expansion side in 2017. New England is seeking its first four-game road unbeaten run since 2011. The Revs have earned results in the club's last three away matches, securing draws at San Jose, Chicago, and Vancouver. Minnesota enters Wednesday's match on the heels of a 3-2 win against Real Salt Lake on Saturday.
Following Wednesday's match, New England wraps up its two-game road swing with a matchup against the New York Red Bulls at Red Bull Arena on Saturday evening. Kickoff for that game is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. ET, and will be broadcast locally on NBC Sports Boston, 98.5 The Sports Hub, and 1260 AM Nossa Radio.

New England extending its three-game unbeaten run on the road, as the club has posted an 0-0-3 record away from home since May 26 at Vancouver. The club's last four-game away undefeated streak came in July 2011 (1-0-3).
The Revs (28 pts.) eclipsing the 30-point threshold after 20 MLS games for only the fifth time in club history. The last time the Revs accomplished the feat was in 2008 (16 games).
The Revolution playing their first road contest at Minnesota United FC in club history. In the two clubs' first ever meeting last year, the Revs defeated the Loons, 5-2, at Gillette Stadium.
The Revs remaining undefeated in 2018 when Teal Bunbury (6-0-4) scores a goal.
Midfielder Diego Fagundez recording one assist to become the third member of the Revolution's 40G/40A club, where he would join Lee Nguyen (51G/49A) and Steve Ralston (42G/73A). Forward Teal Bunbury finding the net for the 11th time in the club's last 17 games. Bunbury has scored in five times in the club's last eight matches.
Bunbury re-claiming a tie for the league lead in game-winning goals. He enters the week with five on the season, one shy of Atlanta's Josef Martinez and four shy of the club's single-season record (Lee Nguyen, nine).
Bunbury making his 225th career MLS appearance and 100th career Revolution start.
There are three of notable connections between the Revolution and Minnesota:
Revolution forward Teal Bunbury and goalkeeper Cody Cropper both have Minnesota roots. Bunbury attended Shattuck-St. Mary's High School, while Cropper played for the Minnesota Thunder at the youth level.
Forward Femi Hollinger-Janzen was selected by Minnesota in the 2017 MLS Expansion Draft. He was traded back to New England in exchange for Bobby Shuttleworth shortly after on Feb. 15, 2017.
Minnesota United goalkeeper Bobby Shuttleworth played for the Revolution from 2009-16. He owns the second most appearances (124), wins (46), saves (344), and shutouts (34) among all New England goalkeepers.
