Defense Wins Championships:
This season the Blast defense has allowed only 28 goals while scoring 81 for the best goal differential in the MASL. William Vanzela leads the league GAA with a 2.55 average and save percentage with a .812%.
2014-15 MASL Defender of the Year, First Team All MASL, and Team Captain Pat Healey anchors the defense which ranks best in the league again this season. Healey and others, like MASL All Rookie Team selection Onua Obasi, and veteran defender Adriano Dos Santos, continue the long tradition of stout Baltimore defense.
Streaking:
For the second season in a row, the Blast have now reached the halfway point of a season still undefeated.
Vini Dantas, who leads the Blast in points, goals, and assists, has recorded a goal in every game this season. Dantas will try to extend his streak to 12 this weekend.
The Competition- Syracuse Silver Knights:
The Silver Knights are led offensively by Antonio Manfut who has 16 points this season on 13 goals and 3 assists. Bo Jelovac leads the Silver Knights in assists with 9. Goalkeeper Bryan O'Quinn has started all but one game this season in net for the Silver Knights and enters with a 5.45 GAA and .790 save percentage. The Silver Knights are coached by Tommy Tanner.

Syracuse Silver Knights: 5-6 after losing previous game to Cedar Rapids 8-7 in overtime. Six games back in the Eastern Division.
