DAYTON, OH, May 17 2014 - The Dayton Dutch Lions FC (2-3-2) will travel to Harrisburg for the second time this season to play the Harrisburg City Islanders (1-4-1). Kick-off is set for Saturday May 17 at 2.00pm. The first game (April 19) ended in a 1-0 victory for the Dutch Lions when forward Aaron Schoenfeld converted a penalty kick.

After a good team performance last week against the LA Galaxy II (1-1 with playing a man down the last 25 minutes), the Dayton Dutch Lions FC also advanced to the third round in the US Open Cup on Wednesday, beating Schwaben AC with a score of 2-0 on the road.

Head Coach Sid van Druenen commented on the upcoming game in Harrisburg: "After a good win in the US Open Cup this is an important game for us in the league. Getting three points this weekend in Harrisburg means staying with the top teams in the league and that is our focus. We played in Harrisburg earlier this season and although we won we know it will not be an easy game. They need the points just as much as we do and they will do all they can to keep the three points at home. I am expecting a very competitive game and two teams that will work hard."

The Harrisburg City Islanders lost their last two games and are currently in 13th place in the standings. The Dutch Lions sit in 11th place only two points behind fourth in the league.

The game will be live streamed on the City Islanders Youtube page.

After this trip the Dutch Lions return home to DOC Stadium to face their MLS partner the Columbus Crew on Tuesday May 20 at 7.00pm in a friendly and then Sacramento Republic FC on Sunday May 25th at 7.00pm.
