November 20, 2021 - Ontario Hockey League (OHL)
Guelph Storm News Release
The Storm are back in action today as the Sarnia Sting come to the Sleeman Centre. The puck drops at 4:00pm.
The Storm are coming into the second half of a back-to-back, after losing last night's game in a shootout the Storm will be looking to bounce back tonight in front of the sold-out crowd. With the 3-2 shootout loss last night to the Owen Sound Attack, the team now has the record of 9-6-1-1. With a total of 20 points the Storm remain in 3rd in the conference standings. Last night saw two-point nights from Danny Zhilkin, Sasha Pastujov, and Daniil Chayka, with impressive performances from these three last night the team will look to continue the offensive success tonight as the Sarnia Sting come to town to take on the Storm.
The Sarnia Sting are also coming into a second half of their own back-to-back this weekend, after playing last night in London the Sting were able to win 4-2. With the most recent win the Stings record sits at 6-6-2-0 and places them 8th in conference standings. The Sting are currently on a 3-game win streak which saw them beat the London Knights in back-to-back games. Coming off a big win of their own the Sting will look to continue this momentum going into tonight.

Players to Watch:
Guelph Storm - Danny Zhilkin
After getting his prospect rank upgraded to an A earlier in the week by NHL Central Scouting, Zhilkin was able to put up a goal and an assist in last night's tough loss to the Attack. Currently on a 2-game point streak, Zhilkin will be aiming to continue the offensive success tonight against the Sting.
Sarnia Sting - Ty Voit
The Toronto Maple Leaf's 5th rounder has impressed to start the season. Totalling 17 points in 13 games, Voit has been able to contribute offensively to the Stings success. On a 3-game point streak which has seen him get 1 goal and 5 points, Voit should be a player to watch in tonight's game.
Upcoming Game:
The Storm are back in action next Friday, November 26, when the London Knights visit Guelph for the first time this season. The puck drops at 7:30.
