Owen Sound, ON - The Saginaw Spirit (8-5-1-0) return to action Saturday night against the Owen Sound Attack (7-6-1-1) at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre in Owen Sound, Ontario. The puck drop is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
Saginaw is riding high after a 6-4 comeback victory Friday night against the Kitchener. The Spirit trailed 4-0 with under eight minutes to go in the second period, but thrusted themselves back into the game with two, second period goals from Roberto Mancini and Josh Bloom while shorthanded. Two third period goals from captain Cam Baber 14 seconds apart tied the game for the Spirit at 8:28. A second shorthanded goal for Josh Bloom at 9:43 of the third period gave them their first lead of the game. Baber capped off his first hat trick of his OHL career with an empty net goal at 18:17 of the third period. Rookie goaltender Andrew Oke made 22 saves for his fourth OHL victory.
The Attack have won four straight games after a 3-2 shootout win Friday night over the Guelph Storm. Newcomer William Portokalis scored his first goal as an Attack to open the scoring but was answered by two Storm goals from Sasha Pastujov and Danny Zhilkin. The Attack tied the game with under a minute to go on a Servac Petrovsky goal at 19:03. Sam Sedley scored the only goal of the shootout to give the Attack the extra point. Owen Sound has at least one point in their last six contests (5-0-1-0).

Saginaw takes the ice again on Wednesday, November 24 in Flint against the Firebirds in the fourth game of 12 in the Coors Light I-75 Divide Rivalry Series. The Spirit have won the first three games of the Firebirds this season.
The Spirit return to The Dow Event Center Saturday, Nov. 27 facing the Windsor Spitfires for 'Light the Night' supporting Leukemia and Lymphoma awareness.
