Preview: Chicago Express (10-5-1-1, 22pts) vs. Trenton (7-9-1-0, 15pts)
When: Puck drops at 3:00 p.m., pregame show starts at 2:45 p.m.
Where: Sun National Bank Center, Trenton, NJ
Matchup:
Chicago and Trenton met for the first time last night, with the Titans skating away with a 3-2 overtime victory. Chicago found themselves trailing 2-0 at the start of the third period, but battled back with goals from D Evan Stephens and RW Chaz Johnson to force the game past regulation. One point would be all the Express would get, however, as F Rob Bordson scored for the Titans with 2:20 left to go in OT to secure a victory for Trenton.
Express Notes:
LW Chaz Johnson has six points (3g,3a) in his last three games... LW Tyler Donati has six points in his last four games (1g-5a)...The Express have played past regulation four times this season, but last night's contest was the first time that a post-regulation game did not advance to a shootout... Chicago currently sits in first place in the North Division and has earned five of six possible points so far during the road trip.
