The Iowa Barnstormers (9-6) travel to take on the Quad City Steamwheelers (8-7) on Friday, July 15. The matchup is scheduled for 7:05 P.M at the TaxSlayer Center in Moline, Illinois.
Quad City comes into the game following a 44-50 loss to the Frisco Fighters (13-2). The Steamwheelers forced double overtime before the Fighters scored a touchdown to escape with a victory.
Iowa travels to Quad City following a 61-48 win over the Tucson Sugar Skulls (8-7) on Saturday night. Running back Antonio Wimbush helped the Barnstormers prevail with seven touchdowns.
This marks the third matchup between the Barnstormers and Steamwheelers this season. The series is currently tied with game one, on March 18th, resulting in a 46-24 victory for the Steamwheelers and the Barnstormers taking the victory on May 7th with a 63-47 win.
