 Green Bay Blizzard News Release

When:Saturday, April 7 7:05pm CT
Where:Cedar Rapids Ice Arena - Cedar Rapids, IA
Blizzard Update:Green Bay has only played one game in the last three weeks and will have to adjust to game speed very quickly in Cedar Rapids. The Blizzard played in Omaha on March 24 and pulled out a 42-37 victory. Wide receiver Bryan Pray made a leaping touchdown catch over the wall with 36 seconds remaining to provide the winning margin. Quarterback Donovan Porterie was 15-25 passing for 156 yards and four touchdowns. Desmond Tardy led the receiving corps with four catches for 68 yards and two touchdowns. Linebacker Trevor Glomski led the defense with seven tackles and filled in admirably for Greg Jackson who did not play in the game.
Titans Update:Cedar Rapids continued its road struggles with a 69-29 loss in Sioux Falls. The Titans defense was unable to slow down the rushing attack of the IFL's top offense. The Storm had six rushing touchdowns, including two by Storm quarterback Chris Dixon. He also had four passing touchdowns. The Titans offense struggled to find any running room and quarterback Willie Copeland had a tough time connecting with receivers. He finished the game 13 of 29 passing for 109 yards and three touchdowns.
Series:The Blizzard leads the series 1-0. The two teams faced each other for the first time earlier this season in Green Bay. The Titans are a new member of the IFL this year. The Blizzard dominated the Titans from the start of the game and won 64-12. Expect a tighter contest this weekend as the Titans are undefeated in front of their home crowd. The Titans sold out their first two home games and expect another large crowd this Saturday.
Transactions:Cedar Rapids placed wide receiver Nick Campbell on season ending IR. Titans starting linebacker Brian McIntire was also placed on season ending IR last week. He led the Titans with nine total tackles against the Blizzard earlier this year.
Watch:All IFL contests broadcast during the 2012 season are available live online and can be accessed through the Blizzard websitewww.greenbayblizzard.comandwww.b2livetv.com. Fans will need a high speed Internet connection to watch live IFL action.
