
Sioux Falls Stays Atop Coaches Poll For 4th Consecutive Week

Richmond, VA.- For a fourth week in a row the Sioux Falls Storm retain the top spot in Coaches Poll.
The Storm retained the top spot after dismantling the Cedar Rapids Titans 69-29 in Week 6. This week, the Storm will face a team coming off a tough loss in the Chicago Slaughter. The Slaughter lost 70-65 in a shootout to the Bloomington Edge that remained exciting until the final play.
Coming in second and third respectively is the Tri-Cities Fever and the Allen Wranglers. Both teams emerged victorious in Week 6. Tri-Cities remained undefeated as they took down the Wyoming Cavalry 62-41. The Allen Wranglers set a franchise-record for points (86) in their game against the Nebraska Danger and WR Maurice Avery was awarded Offensive Player of the Week.
The Bloomington Edge's last second victory against Chicago was enough to catapult them over the Green bay Blizzard for the fourth spot. Bloomington leapfrogged the Blizzard after the Edge beat the Chicago Slaughter 70-65. In that game the Edge QB Dusty Burk threw 7 touchdown passes. After coming off a bye in week 6 the Blizzard will face a rematch against the eighth ranked Cedar Rapids Titans in week 7. The Edge have a bye this week.
Colorado, Omaha and Cedar Rapids come in a sixth, seventh and eighth respectively.
Lehigh Valley reenters the top ten at ninth this week. The Steelhawks move up despite a bye in week 6 and will face off against the Reading Express in a rematch from Week 4 . The Nebraska Danger, coming off a tough loss to the Wranglers, rounds out the top ten.
New Mexico drops out of the top ten .
