Today, the Erie SeaWolves and Altoona Curve (Pittsburgh Pirates) return to UPMC Park for the rubber match of the three game series...The Altoona Curve evened the series Saturday night after edging the SeaWolves 5-3...Daz Cameron has strung together two consecutive three hit performances and was a triple shy of the cycle in the loss...Jacob Robson went yard for the seventh time this season which now puts him at second on the team in home runs...The SeaWolves are now 3-9 in two run games this season...Kyle Funkhouser snapped his win streak after taking the loss in 4.2 innings performance, surrendering only two earned runs...Erie was 2-for-6 with runners in scoring position in the loss and left eight runners on base...Erie's struggles at home continued, falling to 14-23 at UPMC Park and 0-5 at home on Saturdays....Beau Burrows returns to the bump for Erie to make his 14th start against Erie and his third against Altoona....Burrows won in his last start against the Curve, fanning five batters and only allowed two hits in 6.0 scoreless innings...Eduardo Vera heads to the mound to make his fifth start for Altoona and his first against the SeaWolves...The 23-year-old righty struggled in his most recent start, giving up seven runs on eight hits with only two strikeouts in his first AA loss to the New Hampshire Fisher Cats.
