Seattle Sounders FC News Release
Following a scoreless draw last weekend in Vancouver, Sounders FC returns home to face Real Salt Lake on Saturday, April 6 at CenturyLink Field (7:00 p.m. PT / JOEtv, YouTube TV, 1090 KJR AM, El Rey 1360 AM).
Consistency has been key for Sounders FC in its unbeaten start to the 2019 campaign, as Head Coach Brian Schmetzer has selected the same starting XI in each of the club's first four matches this season (Mike Fiechtner / Seattle Sounders FC).
Saturday's match is being broadcast locally on JOEtv and regionally on YouTube TV, featuring Keith Costigan, Kasey Keller and Steve Zakuani on the call. Sports Radio 1090 KJR AM is carrying the contest, with Matt Johnson handling play-by-play and Wade Webber on color commentary, in addition to Jackson Felts, Pete Fewing and James Riley providing pre-match, halftime and post-match coverage from the studio. Fans in Western Washington can tune in to El Rey 1360 AM for a Spanish radio broadcast, featuring "Zuper" Mario Rodriguez, Felipe Maqueda and Carlos Tapia.
Seattle is off to its best four-match start to a campaign in club history, with 10 points in its first four games of the season. Sounders FC is 2-0-0 at CenturyLink Field in 2019, and has outscored its opponents by a 6-1 margin in those two contests.
Following Saturday's match, Brian Schmetzer's side travels to Colorado to take on the Rapids on Wednesday, April 10 at Dick's Sporting Goods Park (6:00 p.m. PT / JOEtv, YouTube TV, 950 KJR AM, El Rey 1360 AM).
