Seattle Sounders FC hits the road for its first away match of the 2016 MLS regular season with a Saturday matchup against Real Salt Lake at Rio Tinto Stadium (1:00 p.m. PT / JOEtv, ROOT SPORTS, KIRO Radio 97.3 FM, El Rey 1360 AM). Saturday's match is being televised on JOEtv, with Keith Costigan making his debut in the Sounders FC broadcast booth alongside Kasey Keller, as well as Jackie Montgomery and Steve Zakuani providing pre, half and post-match analysis. ROOT SPORTS is carrying the match regionally, as fans in Eastern Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana and Alaska can tune in to see the match live.

KIRO Radio 97.3 FM is airing the match live with Matt Johnson and Zakuani on the call, as well as Jason Rantz, Pete Fewing and Danny Jackson providing pre, half and post-match coverage from the studio. Fans in Western Washington can tune-in to El Rey 1360 AM for a Spanish radio broadcast, featuring "Zuper" Mario Rodriguez and Felipe Maqueda on the call.

After falling 1-0 to Sporting Kansas City in the 2016 league opener, Sounders FC continues its campaign Saturday against Western Conference rival Real Salt Lake. Last season saw the Claret and Cobalt's seven-year run of consecutive MLS Cup Playoffs berths snapped, as the 2009 MLS Cup Champions finished in ninth place among Western Conference teams. In its opening MLS match of 2016, RSL conceded two stoppage-time goals in a 2-2 draw at Orlando City SC.
