The Lowdown The Pats will face the Edmonton Oil Kings for the third time this season with the home teams winning each of the first two games. The last meeting came on December 16th in Edmonton with the Oil Kings coming away with the 3-1 win. Jordan Weal notched the lone marker, with Damien Ketlo having to leave the game with the shoulder injury that kept him out of the Pats line-up until this past Wednesday.

Who Are the Oil Kings?

The Oil Kings were sellers during the trade deadline, sending away Brent Raedeke, Brett Breitkreuz and Tomas Vincour in a pair of deals. This leaves them with a very young line-up lead by highly touted defenceman Mark Pysyk and forward Dylan Wruck. The anchor of the club is 20 year old goaltender Torrie Jung.

Who's who:The Oil Kings are the one of the lowest scoring teams in the WHL. They are without a player that has more than 10 goals.

The line of Jordan Eberle, Jordan Weal and Carter Ashton was put together during the final period of the Pats loss against the Warriors last Friday. During their first two full games together, the trio have combined for 14 points.

Last Action: The Pats played one of their best games of the season, taking out one of the top teams in Canada, the Brandon Wheat Kings, 4-2. Damien Ketlo stopped 41 shots for his 12th win of the season with Jordan Weal leading the way on the score sheet with a pair of goals.

On the ice tonight: A big Friday in the WHL tonight with 9 other games on tap. There are 3 other all Eastern Conference match-ups that will have a huge impact on the playoff standings. There is one televised game with Chilliwack visiting Everett on a game that will be shown both on Fox Sports Northwest and Shaw.
