The Lowdown
This is the third time this season that the Wheat Kings and the Pats will meet The first two times were on the opening weekend of the season with Brandon taking both of them (5-4 in Brandon and 3-1 in the return affair in Regina). Myles Bell is the Pats top scorer against the Wheat Kings with 2 goals and an assist and a +4, while Damien Ketlo got both starts and has a save percentage of .900 in the two losses. Heading into tonight's game, the Wheatties have a 5 point lead on the Pats in the Eastern Conference standings.

Brandon has gotten over a huge injury bug and have seen the return of 20 year old forwards, David Toews and Shane Wiebe both returning to the lineup this weekend. With the return of those two players and a couple more to the lineup Brandon has out together back to back wins.

LW - Scott Glennie - The 1st round pick of the Dallas Stars in 2009 is second on Brandon in scoring with 17 points and tops in assists with 15
C - David Toews - The brother of Chicago Black Hawks star Jonathon Toews has 7 points in 8 games in his 1st WHL season
RW - Michael Sagen - The 17 year old rookie forward scored his first WHL goal in the 5-3 loss to the Moose Jaw Warriors last night
D - Myles Bell - The defenceman is third on the team in scoring with 15 points and has a club best +8.
G - Damien Ketlo - Despite getting tagged with the two losses so far this weekend, he still has a .916 save percentage.
Subway Super Series:
A pair of Pat players was named to play for team WHL on November 17th in Kamloops against a Russian National Team. Carter Ashton will make his second appearance in the series he played as a member of the Lethbridge Hurricanes last season, while Jordan Weal is playing in his first game.
When The Pats score 1st
The Pats have scored first in both of their games this weekend against the Warriors and dropped each of them. This season, the Pats have scored first 10 times this season, and have just won a pair of games. When their opponents score first, the Pats have won three games this season.

The busy week for the Pats continues this week with a pair of US Division teams making visits. It begins Wednesday night with the Portland Winterhawks making their first appearance to the Brandt Centre in 2 years.
