San Antonio FC recorded 14 shots at Las Vegas on 6/11, marking the most in a single game so far this season. The club added four shots on target and walked away with a 1-1 draw on the road. SAFC has recorded at least 10 shots in a single match in four of their seven games so far in 2021. Last season, in 16 matches San Antonio FC recorded at least 10 shots in nine of those games, recording at least four shots on target in 13.

Set Piece Specialists San Antonio FC scored their second goal from a set piece this season when defender Joaquin Varela scored his first goal for the club from a corner kick on 6/11 at Las Vegas. Midfielder Emil Cuello recorded his second assist on the corner when the goal game in the ninth minute. SAFC scored six goals from set pieces in 16 games in 2020 and have scored 31 goals from set pieces since the start of the 2016 season.

All-time Series: SAFC will travel to New Mexico to face New Mexico United for just the third time in regular season history. The two previous meetings were contrasting results as SAFC fell 0-3 in New Mexico in May of 2019 before recording the club's biggest win all-time in August of 2019, beating NMU 5-0 at Toyota Field.
