Oluwaseyi finished with 60% of the weighted poll, including 100% of the media and USL Technical Committee votes.

What they had to say:
Forward Tani Oluwaseyi
(On getting the game winning goal in Phoenix and having 14 goals in his 13 games with SAFC this season ...) "I think as a striker it's been incredible - you know the purpose of the game is to score goals, especially for me and I've been able to do that at a high level. I think the most important part is it's contributed to wins for my team and putting us in a good position going on in the season so I'm grateful for my God-given abilities and being able to use that to help my team out is incredible."
Head coach Alen Marcina
(On Oluwaseyi earning Player of the Month honors...) "Tani's been first-class both on and off the field. We're incredibly proud of him and this earned recognition and we're also proud of Jorge because he was among the nominees. To have two SAFC players up for Player of the Month is big time by the players. So I'm incredibly happy for both and as I mentioned Tani's been first-class."
