Phoenix Rising FC Hosts El Paso Locomotive on Kick Cancer Night, Tomorrow at 8 PM

PHOENIX, Arizona - Phoenix Rising FC (7-7-8) faces El Paso Locomotive FC (9-8-5) at 38th St/Washington, tomorrow at 8 p.m.

Rising Head Coach Juan Guerra spoke with media on Thursday to discuss the matchup against El Paso. Locomotive went on an incredible run earlier this season, compiling a record of 8-0-2 from March 25 to June 14, but since then, El Paso is 0-5-2 in its last seven. That run includes three straight losses in which they were outscored, 12-3.

"This group has heart," said Guerra following a 2-1 loss to San Antonio last weekend. "This group has talent. This group has resilience. Tonight doesn't make us weak. Tonight doesn't hurt us. Tonight got us very upset. I want to see... Who is going to step forward?"
