The Regina Pats (10-18-3-1) will play their final game of 2019 on Monday night when they visit the Brandon Wheat Kings (15-17-1-2). Puck drop is at 7:00 p.m. at Westoba Place. The Pats are coming off back to back wins over Moose Jaw to start the second half, most recently a 5-0 win at home on Saturday. The Wheat Kings dropped their first two games since Christmas to Winnipeg, losing their last one Saturday at home 4-0. Tonight is the second of six meetings between Regina and Brandon this year, the Pats are 1-0-0-0 so far in the season series. The game can be heard with Bennett Dunlop Ford Pats Hockey starting at 6:35 p.m. on 620 CKRM .

The Regina Pats used a four-goal outburst in the third period to pick up a 5-0 win at home over the Moose Jaw Warriors on Saturday night at the Brandt Centre. In the first, the Warriors outshot the Pats 14-7, aided by three powerplays, but Max Paddock stood tall and it was scoreless after one. In the second, the Pats found the first goal of the game at 12:54, Carson Denomie snapped his ninth into the top of the net and Regina took a 1-0 lead to the break. In the final frame, the Pats exploded for four goals to blow it open. Zach Wytinck started it off on a wraparound for his fourth to make it 2-0. Logan Nijhoff made it 3-0 on a pretty goal on a breakaway, his sixth at 4:11. 13 seconds later, Ty Kolle scored his 14th and it was 4-0. The Pats added another on the PP from Ryker Evans, his fourth, to make it 5-0 and that was the final.

Braden Schneider, Duncan Pierce and Connor Gutenberg had two-point nights for Brandon. Donovan Buskey made 27 saves for Regina, while Jiri Patera made 32 saves in the Wheat Kings net.
