The set-up
The Belleville Senators head to Rochester for the final time this season riding a 14-game point streak.
Belleville (28-23-2-4) collected another win Friday in Binghamton and moved a point closer to a playoff spot in the North Division and now sit three points behind both Toronto and Utica.
Binghamton (33-16-3-2) lead the North Division by three points over Syracuse and have won their last four match-ups. The Amerks' 71 points are the second most in the AHL.
Belleville is 11-15-2-2 on the road this year and have won their last three road games. Rochester is 17-10-0-1 at home.
Roster notes
Newly acquired forward Vitaly Abramov will make his Belleville debut tonight after joining the team from Cleveland.
After getting the win Friday, all signs seem to be point to Marcus Hogberg starting again this evening for the Sens.
Andrew Sturtz, Justin Falk and Morgan Klimchuk are out for Belleville.
Previous history
Belleville has won both match-ups against Rochester this season and both by a 5-4 scoreline. The Senators are 6-3-0-1 all-time against the Americans.
Who to watch
Jack Rodewald had two goals and an assist Friday to help Belleville beat Binghamton and notched his 50th career AHL goal in the process. Rodewald has 38 points (19 goals) in 40 games this season.
Victor Oloffson leads Rochester in points this year in his first season in North America with 46 (20 goals) in 51 games.
