HERSHEY - The 2009 Calder Cup Champion HERSHEY BEARS announced today that Game 6 of the Calder Cup Finals is officially sold out. The announcement was made today by BEARS President/GM Doug Yingst.
The BEARS forced a sixth game in the best-of-seven championship series by virtue of a 4-2 victory in Game 4 on Wednesday night at Cedar Park Center. Texas will host Game 5 of the series Friday night at 8:30 p.m. before the teams return to central PA Monday night for Game 6. Faceoff Monday is at 7:00 p.m. Tickets for a potential Game 7 would go on sale immediately after it becomes necessary. The Calder Cup has not been won in Hershey since 1980 when the BEARS defeated the New Brunswick Hawks four games to two at HERSHEYPARK Arena.
Friday's game from Cedar Park Center will be televised on ABC-27's digital channel 27.2, Comcast channel 246, Verizon channel 461, and on Direct TV via Comcast SportsNet Mid Atlantic.
