Gamblers Set for USHL Entry Draft

(Green Bay, WI) - The Green Bay Gamblers will be participating in the United States Hockey League (USHL) Entry Draft Tuesday, May 22nd starting at 4:00pm. Fans can follow live draft coverage on gamblershockey.com with a live look in of the Gamblers "war room" and in-depth interviews with the staff breaking down each player selected.

The number of rounds for the 2012 USHL Entry Draft is based on how many rounds necessary to bring each USHL Member Club's player roster to 30. After submitting their Initial Protected List, teams will first draft to fill their roster number to 23 players.The Gamblers will have 7 selections to fill their roster number to 23 players. Once every team reaches that number, the Entry Draft extends to allow all teams to bring their roster to 30.

Fifteen USHL Member Clubs will participate in the 2012 USHL Entry Draft and select players in the 1992 birth year age group and younger. The National Team Development Program does not participate in the Entry Draft as they conduct a separate player selection process, held separately but in cooperation with the USHL.

Round 1 -5th Overall (via Trade with Tri-City Storm)

-15th Overall

Round 2 -30th Overall

Round 3 -45th Overall

Round 4 -60th Overall

Round 5 -75th Overall

Round 6 -90th Overall

The Green Bay Gamblers will face-off against the Waterloo Blackhawks in Game 5 of the Clark Cup Finals Wednesday night at the Resch Center. Great seats are still available.
