Gwinnett Stripers News Release

It Was Over When: After 4.0 IP of scoreless work by Flande, the 5th inning was his downfall. Leading 1-0, Flande yielded two singles and two doubles to the first five batters of the frame. That led to a 3-1 margin that would only grow too large for Gwinnett to overcome.

The Opposition: On the Mound: Knights starter, and former G-Brave, LHP Deunte Heath went just 3.0 IP and allowed 1 R/ER on 2 H with 2 BB and 3 K's in a spot start at the last minute. Original starter and long time Major Leaguer LHP Doug Davis was a late scratch for his scheduled start. RHP Jhonny Nunez (3-3) picked up the win with 2.0 scoreless innings.
