
G-Braves, Mudcats Washed Out

Mississippi Braves News Release
GREENVILLE, SC -- Sunday afternoon's scheduled Southern League game between the Carolina Mudcats and the Greenville Braves was postponed due to rain. The contest will be made up Monday evening at 6:00 as part of a doubleheader at Greenville Municipal Stadium.
Sunday's scheduled starters, Carolina righthander Trevor Hutchinson (2-1; 2.61) and Greenville southpaw Ray Aguilar (2-4; 3.08), are scheduled to pitch game one. Game two probables are RHP Denny Bautista (4-3; 3.32) for the Mudcats and RHP Daniel Curtis (3-3; 3.40) for the G-Braves.
Sunday's rainout was the ninth of the season for the G-Braves. The nine washouts is a 20-year franchise record.

Monday is Tobacco Free Kids Night sponsored by the Greenville Family Partnership as well as Lottery Monday and Pride in Carolina's Youth Reading Program Night sponsored by Davis Inc., Carolina Pride Hot Dogs, Gatti-Town, The Greenville County Library System, and Home Depot.
