Gwinnett Stripers News Release

The Gwinnett Braves and Allgood Pest Solutions have teamed up to offer fans the rare opportunity to win a player's jersey right off his back following the game on Friday, May 14th against Lehigh Valley IronPigs (Philadelphia Phillies) at 7:05 p.m. All proceeds benefit the Rally Foundation for Childhood Cancer Research.

"We are thrilled to partner with the Gwinnett Braves to give back to the community," said Allgood Pest Solutions Partner Mike Tindol. "Having seen firsthand what these families go through, I know that more childhood cancer research is the key to finding better treatments and cures."

On "Jersey Off Your Back Night" at Coolray Field, fans will be able to participate in a silent auction for their favorite player's jersey from the time the gates open at 5:15 p.m. until the middle of the seventh inning (minimum bid is $100). In addition to the Gwinnett Braves player jerseys, there will also be one jersey signed by Atlanta Braves catcher and Rally Foundation for Childhood Cancer Research spokesperson Brian McCann. Last year the "Jerseys Off Your Back" auction raised more than $7,000 for Rally.

As part of the event program, Rally Kid Jordan will throw the first pitch of the game, and Jenna Rohrbach, sister of Rally Kid Alexa who passed away from cancer in 2008, will sing the national anthem.

The Gwinnett Braves are the Triple-A affiliate of the Atlanta Braves. All Gwinnett Braves 2010 tickets packages and individual tickets are available at gwinnettbraves.com, the Coolray Field Box Office and by calling (678) 277-0340.
