Chicago Wolves News Release
The Chicago Wolves will open their doors to local high schoolers on Wed., Nov. 12, at 9 a.m. for their third annual Future Journalists Media Day at the Hoffman Estates Community Center and Ice Arena.
Students will have the chance to interact with several guest speakers including ABC 7 News Sports Director and Primary Sports Anchor MARK GIANGRECO, ESPN 1000 Radio Host HARRY TEINOWITZ and NBC 5 Sports Reporter PAULA FARIS. All three speakers will focus on their careers and experiences within sports journalism and will take questions from the students.
In addition, the aspiring student journalists will have the opportunity to watch the Wolves morning practice and interview coaches and players.
"This event has become really successful over the past few years thanks to the graciousness of our three media personalities. It's a great way for students to learn outside of the classroom," said Wolves Vice President of Operations Courtney Mahoney. "This is a program I would have enjoyed when I was in high school."
