Tuesday, June 15th - Join Bakersfield Sports Entertainment and select Blitz players at Kern County Museum's "Fun Days at the Museum" from 9:00am - 1:00pm. Kern County Museum Education Department has developed Fun Days to be an affordable, fun and entertaining event for large families and child-care providers. Kern County Museum is located at 3801 Chester Avenue in Bakersfield.

Thursday, June 17th - Blitz mascot Crusher and select Blitz players will be at the Wilson Library for the Kern County Library, KGET-TV 17, and the Bakersfield Blitz "Wild About Reading" Storytime beginning at 10:30am. Wilson Library is located at 1901 Wilson Road. For more information on the "Wild About Reading" program and how kids can earn free tickets to see the Bakersfield Blitz contact the Kern County Library at 868-0750 or log on to www.kerncountylibrary.org to sign up for the program.

Thursday, June 17th - Come on down to the Holiday Inn Select for the Indoor War Report as the "Voice of the Blitz" Kevin Bartl is joined by Blitz Head Coach Rick Van Horne, as well as select Blitz players from 6:00pm - 7:00pm. The IWR is a great chance for fans to meet their favorite members of the 2004 Blitz as well as win great prizes. The Holiday Inn Select is located at the corner of Truxtun Avenue and Q Street. The show can also be heard live each week on KGEO AM 1230.

Thursday, June 17th - Bakersfield Sports Entertainment and the Bakersfield Blitz Football Toss, along with the Condors Slapshot, will be at the "Downtown Summer Street Faire" from 6:30pm - 9:30. This month's theme is "Summer Home & Arts - Hawaiian Holiday". BSE will be at the corner of 19th Street and Chester Avenue.

Saturday, June 19th - Select Bakersfield Blitz Dancers will be joined by Blitz mascot Crusher and Bakersfield Sports Entertainment staff at Mud Volleyball 2004 at Stramler Park beginning at 8:30am. The annual event benefits the Epilepsy Society. Stramler Park is located at 3805 Chester Avenue. For more information contact the Epilepsy Society at 634-9810.

Saturday, June 19th - Dads, here is your chance to catch a Bakersfield Blitz game for free as the Bakersfield Blitz take on the Central Valley Coyotes beginning at 7:00pm. The Blitz honors all dads with this Father's Day Special; all dads get in Free with the purchase of a ticket for their child. That's not all! The first 2,000 fans through the turnstiles will receive a free Blitz Visor, compliments of KERN 1410 AM, Bright House Networks & 24 Hour Fitness. Also, the night is a Bright House Networks Night. Subscribers receive $5.00 terrace admission per person by presenting the coupon available in their cable bill. Plus, anyone wearing LA Lakers gear can buy 2-for-1 tickets to celebrate their appearance in the NBA Finals.
