
Frostbite release pre-season roster

Adirondack Frostbite News Release
Glens Falls, NY â The Adirondack Frostbite, proud member of the United Hockey League (UHL) have set their pre-season roster, it was announced today by Frostbite Head Coach and Director of Player Personnel Marc Potvin. The Frostbite begin camp with six veterans and seven rookies. Adirondack will open camp tomorrow, Sunday, October 3rd at 6:45 AM at the Glens Falls Civic Center.
Leading the crop of veterans is three-time league MVP Hugo Belanger, returning for his fifth year in Adirondack. He will be joined by former Adirondack Red Wing Sylvain Cloutier, former NHL defenseman Neil Wilkinson, defensemen Scott Drevitch and Kamil Kuriplach and right wing Frank Littlejohn, who is returning to the North Country for his fifth season.
The Frostbite have a very talented group of rookies as well. Battling for the back-up goalie position will be David Burleigh and Pierre-Olivier Girouard. The other rookies include, Tampa Bay Lightning draft pick, defenseman, Henrik Bergfors and forwards Nick Burnatowski, Scott Page, Kevin Taylor and Queensbury native Ryan Bennett.
The eight non-veteran players include, former NHL goaltender Derek Gustafson, forwards Jean-Francois Labarre, David Burgess, Frank Bakrlik and Trevor Segstro and defensemen Steve O'Rourke, Jason Jaworski and David Vychodil.
Even though Gustafson and Segstro are on the roster, neither will be at the opening of camp. Gustafson has received an American Hockey League (AHL) tryout with the Portland Pirates and Segstro with the Springfield Falcons. Two undetermined players besides Segstro are still expected to be assigned to Adirondack before the start of the regular season.
Season tickets for the 2004-05 season are on sale now at the Frostbite front office located at the Glen Street entrance of the Glens Falls Civic Center. Tickets may be purchased at the office from 9AM to 6PM Monday through Thursday and from 9AM to 5PM Friday or by calling 926-PUCK. Also, UHL All-Star Classic Tickets are on sale to season ticket holders now at the Frostbite office or by calling 926-PUCK. Individual game tickets and All-Star tickets are on sale to the public at the Glens Falls Civic Center Box Office or by calling 798-0202.
