RiverDogs announce training camp roster

Richmond, VA – The Richmond RiverDogs of the United Hockey League hit the ice Monday for the opening workout of their 2004 training camp. 19 players are expected to be on hand for the first workout, including seven returnees from last season's Eastern Conference regular season champions. The ‘Dogs have 11 forwards, six defensemen, and two goalies on the camp roster.

Richmond will practice each morning at the Ice Zone at 636 Johnston Willis Dr. Monday through Friday. The ‘Dogs will play their lone preseason game Saturday at Roanoke vs. Missouri at 7:30 PM. The ‘Dogs will take next Sunday off, then move back to the Ice Zone for three more days of practice before moving into the Richmond Coliseum for their home opener Friday, October 15 vs. Port Huron at 7:35 PM. · Season seats are on sale now for $545 in the Center section ($470 for minors and seniors), and $400 ($320 for minors and seniors) in End sections. To purchase your season seats please call 225-PUCK (7825).

· The ‘Dogs open their second season Friday, October 15 vs. Port Huron at 7:35 in the Richmond Coliseum.
