Frost Heaves to step out in central Vermont

South Burlington, Vt.-The Vermont Frost Heaves will hold an open practice at Montpelier High School on Thursday, October 26, at 3:30 p.m. Afterward the public is invited to meet the team at McGillicuddy's on Langdon Street in Montpelier. (The event at McGillicuddy's replaces the previously indicated get-together at Mulligan's in Barre.)

Two days later, on Saturday, October 28, the team, plus mascot Bump the Moose, will march in the 5:30 p.m. Scary Barre Halloween Parade. Afterward the public is welcome to a meet-and-greet at Sean & Nora's Restaurant on North Main Street.

The Frost Heaves begin their inaugural season in the American Basketball Association on November 10 in Quebec City. The team's Barre home opener is set for November 16 in the Aud, with the Burlington lidlifter on tap for November 18 in Memorial Auditorium.
