Heaves Trap the Mill Rats
December 20, 2010 - Premier Basketball League (PBL)
Vermont Frost Heaves News Release
In our only pre-season home game, the 2010-2011 Frost Heaves overpowered the Saint John Mill Rats 118-85. You can check out a game summary at our website. Despite the fact that this was Sunday afternoon event just a few shopping days before Christmas and that the NY Giants were playing the Philadelphia Eagles (don't get me going on that punt), we had a robust and enthusiastic crowd on hand to see the return of the Frost Heaves.

Post-Game Relfections
We had a great crowd this past Sunday - typically enthusiastic and loud. The tough defense, great rebounding and scoring off the transition excited the crowd. We're pleased with the turnout, and we look forward to bringing in new fans. In fact, if every season ticket holder brought in another friend or colleague as a new season ticket holder, the impact would be enormous. If you helped coordinate a group outing from your office or just amongst friends, that would be amazing. If you're a member of a fraternal organization, we'd love to be able to come and present to your group. If you live out of the area, you can purchase a season ticket and give it back to us to provide to local youth groups. You're all part of the Frost Heaves family and together we can fill the Aud with 1,600 fans when the league champion Lawton-Fort Sill Cavalry come to town on Friday, January 7 for a 7:05 tip off. That's our goal - fill the Aud, help end hunger, and win a championship!
