Kingston Frontenacs News Release
The Kingston Frontenacs added veteran goaltender Tyler Beskorowany from the Owen Sound Attack today along with future considerations in exchange for right winger Bobby Mignardi, and a 4th round pick in the 2010 OHL Priority Selection.
In his sophomore season last year, Beskorowany (BES-koro-wah-nee) appeared in 37 games for the Attack, compiling a record of 11 wins, 12 losses, 4 overtime losses and 6 shootout losses. He had a 3.64 goals against average and a .902 save percentage. Drafted in the 2nd round of the 2008 NHL Entry Draft by the Dallas Stars, 59th overall, he will join the Club for training camp.
"We couldn't pass up the opportunity to get a goaltender of Beskorowany's ability," said Larry Mavety, Director of Hockey Operations and General Manager.
