
Frk & Czarnowczan Return for Game 7

Toledo, OH - Forward Martin Frk (FERK) and Defenseman Scott Czarnowczan has been assigned to the Walleye from the Grand Rapids Griffins of the American Hockey. Both are expected to be in Toledo's lineup tonight for game seven of the North Division Semi-Finals vs. Wheeling at the Huntington Center.
Frk, Detroit's second round choice (#49) in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft, appeared in 32 games this year with the Walleye posting 38 points (23G, 15A). The 21-year-old forward finished the regular season with six goals and six assists in Grand Rapids, with a pair of assists in two playoff contests.
The native of Pelhrimov, Czech Republic, appeared in 50 games last year with Grand Rapids picking up three goals and nine assists while picking up 13 points (5G, 8A) in Toledo. In 2012-13, Frk was a member of the QMJHL champion and Memorial Cup winning Halifax Mooseheads where he posted 35 goals and 49 assists with 84 penalty minutes in just 56 games.
Czarnowczan had an even split this year between Toledo and Grand Rapids appearing in 29 games for both clubs.
The native of Macomb, Michigan picked up 23 assists and two goals with the Walleye and another two goals with eight assists for the Griffins. He was plus 13 in Toledo and a plus 11 in Grand Rapids. The 23-year-old spent the last four seasons at Ferris State University where he posted nine goals and 54 assists in 141 games. He was also a plus 38 in his college career.
