ECHL Announces Fine, Suspension

April 29, 2015 - ECHL (ECHL) News Release


PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL on Wednesday announced that Quad City's Pearce Eviston has been suspended for one game and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Playoff Game #F-6, Quad City at Rapid City, on April 28.

Eviston was assessed a major penalty for elbowing under Rule #45.3 at 18:19 of the first period. He is fined and suspended under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline.

Eviston will miss Quad City's playoff game at Rapid City tonight (April 29).

Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.
