Friday's San Jose Giants Game Suspended Due to Rain

SAN JOSE, CA -Friday's game between the San Jose Giants and Lancaster JetHawks has been suspended due to rain with Lancaster leading by a 4-1 score. The game will resume as part of a doubleheader on Sunday afternoon at 1:00 PM with the scheduled game to follow as a seven inning contest. Friday's suspension is the first of the season for the Giants.

If you've purchased a ticket to today's game through the Municipal Stadium box office, your tickets can be exchanged for any future game (subject to availability, excluding July 4 and July 5). Loop Neighborhood Merchant tickets can also be turned in at the Municipal Stadium box office for a future game ticket (subject to restrictions and availability).

Saturday's pregame festivities for Salute to the Military Night, presented by Operation: Care and Comfort, have been rescheduled for Memorial Day on May 30. Fans with Salute to the Military tickets are still encouraged to attend tomorrow's game, however the ticket will also be valid on Memorial Day.

The Giants (1-0) are scheduled to return to action on Saturday afternoon for a 5:00 pm contest against the Lancaster JetHawks. The game will be televised live on Comcast Hometown Network, Channel 104 SD / 819 HD.
