Friday Night Black-Out

Tulsa Oilers News Release
Even if they weren't into leather in October, most Tulsa Oilers fans are now.
The uncanny success of the Oilers when coach Butch Kaebel wears his black-leather jacket behind the bench has created a superstitious frenzy amongst the roughneck faithful. This Friday the Tulsa Oilers and Creek Nation Casino will feed that frenzy by following the best advice in gambling: always bet on black!
The Oilers are calling for all fans to wear their leather, black or otherwise, to Friday nights' game against the Blazers. Not only will the game be televised locally, all or portions of the game will be replayed in Canada on Leafs TV. At the door, Creek Nation Casino will hand out black hats to the first 1,000 fans entering.
"I believe we already have the best home-ice advantage in the league... if something like this will make it even crazier, against our biggest rival, I'm all for it. The only thing is, if we win, the fans have to do it all season," says Kaebel.
