Public Skating At The LEC

Laredo Bucks News Release
LAREDO, Texas â The defending CHL champion Laredo Bucks announced that public skating will take place at the LEC after games in December, with the exception of New Years Eve. The Bucks players will join the fans this Saturday on the ice after the game. The Bucks battle the San Angelo Saints on Friday then take on the Fort Worth Brahmas on Saturday. Face off both nights is set for 7:30 p.m. Call the Bucks office at (956) 718-BUCKS (2825) for tickets or more information. You can also purchase tickets online at www.laredobucks.com, tickets start as low as five dollars.
The cost per session is four dollars if you have skates, six dollars if you need to rent skates. The public skate sessions will last for an hour after the games.
All skaters must sign a waiver. Skaters under the age of 18 must have a parent present to sign the waiver.
Skaters can sign up at the table located on the concourse during the game. The sessions will be limited to 150 skaters.
Once again there will not be a public skate after the December 31st New Years Eve Game.
TOY DRIVE FRIDAY BENEFITING DOCTORS HOSPITAL
The Laredo Bucks, in conjunction with Starbucks, will be hosting a Toy Drive this Friday night when the Bucks battle the San Angelo Saints. Fans are encouraged to bring gift wrapped toys to the game, which will be collected and donated to children at Doctors Hospital. When someone donates a wrapped gift they will receive a raffle ticket. Fans can donate more than one gift wrapped toy and receive multiple raffle tickets. Raffle winners will be selected in a drawing and will be announced over the public address at the Bucks game on Friday. The grand prize is a Barista Espresso Maker and five pounds of Starbucks coffee. The total grand prize package is valued at over $500 dollars. Other prizes include an autographed Bucks jersey and more.

The Bucks will give away Thunderstixs to the first 2,500 fans thru the doors this Friday and Saturday night. The Thunderstixs are presented by the Laredo Bucks Booster Club.
