Fresno Falcons Announce Food Drive/Jersey Auction For Poverello House

Fresno, Calif. - The Fresno Falcons announced today plans for the Second Annual Fresno Falcons Hockey vs Hunger Food Drive and Jersey Auction to benefit the Poverello House. (see Poverello House Information below) The event will be held at Chukchansi Park, in downtown Fresno on Monday, July 23 at 7pm when the Fresno Grizzlies battle the Colorado Sky Sox. All fans are encouraged to donate non-perishable food items at the game. Any fan who donates food may purchase Super View Seats for that game for only $5. All Falcons Season Ticket Holders will receive a letter in the mail offering two free tickets to this game. All food donations will be collected at the July 23 Grizzlies' game will be donated to the Poverello House.

The Falcons will be auctioning off their game worn, road blue, autographed hockey jerseys in the Tecate Cantina following the baseball game. Proceeds from the live jersey auction will benefit the Poverello House. The minimum bid on the Falcons jerseys will be $ 250.00 per jersey. Falcons Head Coach Matt Thomas and select players are expected to attend the event. A list of Falcons attending this event will be released next week.
