Augusta GreenJackets News Release

North Augusta, SC - The Augusta GreenJackets (Atlanta Braves) suffered their worst loss of the season on Sunday, as the Fredericksburg Nationals (Washington Nationals) slaughtered the 'Jackets 17-4. Fredericksburg (10-13, 40-46) put the game out of reach with a seven-run second inning, while Augusta (11-13, 42-47) gave up the most runs and second most hits in a single game this year. Rather than focus on the particulars of the game - which was less than ideal - the GreenJackets recapped the game in haiku style to make the outcome more palatable.
