Fresno Falcons News Release
Fresno, Ca...In a stunning turn of events on Tuesday, an Election Day across the region, Fresno Falcons mascot Freddie Falcon announced that he will run for President. Freddie cited several reasons for running but most importantly, he wants all kids to get the chance to learn about the election process, and by running for President he will allow the kids to work on his campaign which will end on President's Day, 2008. (February 18, 1pm Fresno Falcons vs Stockton Thunder). Between now and President's Day, Freddie hopes to recruit 200 new members for his Freddie Falcon for President Kids Club, and make appearances at several area elementary schools to distribute his campaign photo and teach the kids about the American Presidency. Freddie's close friend Little Caesar (long time mascot broomball team mate) will assist with the campaign. Little Caesars Pizza, a proud sponsor of Falcons Hockey has officially endorsed Freddie Falcon for President and will be underwriting some of his campaign expenses.
