
Frazier's Last-Second Bucket Lifts Maine to 99-98 Win

WHITE PLAINS, NY - January 2, 2015 - The Maine Red Claws, presented by Unum, got a strong performance from rookie point guard Tim Frazier, including a last-second putback basket, helping lift Maine to a 99-98 win at Westchester.
Frazier put in a missed shot by Cory Jefferson with :00.1 left in the game to give the Claws the win. Maine improves to 14-3 with the victory, and will return home tomorrow night (Saturday) when it faces Delaware at the Portland Expo.
Frazier finished with a season high 24 points on 10 for 11 shooting, 10 rebounds and 6 assists. Cory Jefferson, on assignment with Markel Brown from the Brooklyn Nets, recorded a double-double in his D-League debut with 10 points and 11 rebounds. Brown left the game in the first half with an apparent leg injury. Brown scored 7 points in 8 minutes of play.
Christian Watford added 14 points for the Red Claws, and Chris Babb poured in 13 points. Jermaine Taylor was the only other player in double-digits with 11 points.
