Las Vegas, NV - Saturday night (Apr.29), the Saskatchewan Rush ended off their season with a massive 13-12 come from behind win against the Las Vegas Desert Dogs at Michelob Ultra Arena.

The opposing team opened the scoring for the 11th time this season and was firing on all cylinders early, but Clark Walter would score twice in the first quarter to cut the Rush deficit down to 4-2.

Dan Lintner, Mike Mallory and Mike Messenger would all find the back of the net before the first half came to a close, but the road team had some work to do with Las Vegas leading 7-5 at the break.

In the third quarter, Ryan Keenan potted his first two goals of the night and Robert Church scored his 51st goal of the season, but the pesky Desert Dogs still lead 10-8 heading into the final frame.

Despite being 0-7 previously when trailing after three quarters this season, Saskatchewan found another gear, securing goals from Lintner, Jake Boudreau and two more from Ryan Keenan to tie the ball game at 12-12.

Then, with 39 seconds left in regulation, the mailman delivered as Mark Matthews went bar down, sending the hundreds of Rush fans who made the trip home happy with a 13-12 final score.

Warman's own Laine Hruska stopped 35 shots in his second straight victory. Landon Kells made 41 saves in defeat.

Next up, the off-season.
