Fournier Re-Assigned to the Indy Fuel

Rockford, Ill.- The National Hockey League's Chicago Blackhawks announced today that they have re-assigned defenseman Dillon Fournier from the American Hockey League's Rockford IceHogs to the ECHL's Indy Fuel.

Fournier, 20, spent last season with Rouyn-Noranda (QMJHL) where he compiled 13g-19a-32pts in 36 games. In four season in the QMJHL, Fournier totaled 31g-77a-108pts in 207 career contests.

The Montreal, PQ native was a second round draft pick by the Blackhawks (#48 overall) in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.

Next Home Game: Saturday, Oct. 25 vs. Chicago Wolves. Puck drop is 7 p.m. The IceHogs will kick off the next installment of the Illinois Lottery Cup when the Wolves visit the BMO Harris Bank Center. The first 5,000 fans through the gate will leave with an IceHogs magnetic schedule courtesy of T6 Broadband.
