
Four Winnipeg Rifles Players to Participate in Blue Bombers Training Camp

WINNIPEG, MB. - The Winnipeg Blue Bombers today announce that four Winnipeg Rifles players will participate in the club's training camp in 2022. Those players are defensive backs Kyle Chorney and Joseph Funk-Clements, offensive lineman Miguel Leano, and wide receiver Luke McMillan.
Chorney (#15) has played two seasons with the Winnipeg Rifles and had a breakout year in 2021. This past season Chorney recorded 64 tackles and 3 interceptions.
Funk-Clements (#14) joined the Rifles for the 2021 season. He appeared in five games and recorded 22 tackles. Funk-Clements also contributed to special teams by being used as a kick-returner.
Leano (#62) wrapped up his second season with the Winnipeg Rifles after primarily playing offensive tackle. Since joining the Rifles, Leano has helped solidify the offensive line with his dominant pass protection and run blocking capabilities.
McMillan (#0) is the veteran of this group, having played three seasons with the Rifles. Through 21 games played, the wide receiver has accumulated a total of 78 receptions, 855 yards, and 4 touchdowns.
