New Jersey Jackals News Release

It was a scorcher of a night at Yogi Berra Stadium as the Jackals took on Aigles in the second game of a three game series.

Jackals ace Eduard Reyes surrendered five runs on seven hits before being replaced by Nicholas Bozman.

Bozman gave up one run on two hits before getting out of the inning with the Jackals down 6-0.

Conrad Gregor would get the scoring started for the Jackals in the sixth with a solo home run.

The Jackals would then score another run thanks to an RBI from Alfredo Marte in the sixth making it a four run game. Two more runs would score thanks to Marte once again along with Chase Smartt driving in RBIs.

With the game close, the Jackals took the field in the eighth inning, but the Aigles putting on three more runs to make the score 9-4.

That is where the score would stand as the Jackals dropped game two of the series.

The Jackals are now 29-25 on the season and currently sit at 3rd place in the Can-Am league. The series will conclude Sunday at 2:05pm at Yogi Berra Stadium.
