Quebec 5, Ottawa 4 (11 Innings) - Box Score
Quebec 2B Brandon Fischer singled home PR Dany Paradis-Giroux to cap off an amazing four-run rally as the Capitales defeated Ottawa in 11 innings, 5-4.
After trailing 1-0 through eight innings of play, the Champions tallied a run in the top of the ninth to tie the contest at 1-1. The game would go into extra innings where Ottawa plated three runs in the top of the 11th to take a 4-1 advantage. The Champions, however, could not seal the game up as Quebec turned around and scored four in the bottom frame to pick-up the incredible win.
Shortstop Michael Baca led the way at the plate for the Capitales as he went 2-for-4 with a run scored. Quebec CF David Salgueiro had a 1-for-5 game with two RBIs while DH TJ White and RF Jhalan Jackson each collected a hit and a run.
Quebec reliever Jack Charleston picked-up his second win of the season. Charleston allowed two earned runs on three hits in an inning of work.
For Ottawa, 2B Maikol Gonzalez had a 2-for-4 game with two runs scored and an RBI.
New Jersey 12, Trois-Rivieres 4 - Box Score
After trailing 3-0 through a half an inning of play, New Jersey would score 12 runs in four of their first five trips at the plate and defeat Trois-Rivieres, 12-4.
Jackals RF Demetrius Moorer led the way offensively going 1-for-3 with two runs scored and two RBIs. New Jersey SS Santiago Chirino and DH Richard Stock each had a two-hit day with two runs and an RBI while LF Conrad Gregor had a hit in four at-bats to go along with two runs scored and RBI. In total, the Jackals had five players plate two runs apiece.
New Jersey starter Lendy Castillo allowed three earned runs over six innings of work and collected his third win of the year. Castillo gave up two walks and eight hits to go with three strikeouts.
First baseman Juan Kelly had a perfect 3-for-3 day with an RBI in the loss for the Aigles.
Rockland 13, Sussex County 4 - Box Score
Rockland jumped out to a 6-1 lead after just an inning of play and would go from there to roll past Sussex County by the score of 13-4. The Boulders completed the three-game sweep of the Miners and have now won five out of their last six games.
There were six batters with multi-hit games for Rockland including CF/RF Richie Fecteau who went 3-for-4 with a home run, two runs scored and three RBIs. Boulders 2B Ryne Birk added a home run and two RBIs in a 2-for-5 night while DH Blake Grant-Parks collected two hits in four at-bats along with two runs batted in. In total, Rockland had 16 hits in the contest.
Boulders starter Jake Zokan threw five solid innings in earning his first victory of the season. The lefty gave up an earned run on four hits and fanned three batters.
For Sussex County in the loss, DH Nate Coronado had a two-hit game with a run batted in.
